Posted our new libraries for you all, so you can integrate us with the least amount of heavy lifting. We like to make things as easy as possible!
Optout/Confirm screen
Introduced our optout confirmation screen so people can easily opt back in also, and best of all we’ve made it so you can easily apply your own CSS to it.
API Upgrade
Upgraded our API this afternoon, you can now send mass mails with our API. Also our URL rewriting with CNAME set up helps with your email delivery and tracking. Very pretty too (none of those nasty parameterized URL’s).
1,000,000 emails sent!
Our delivery is great - can I say that? it’s really really good. We had an issue with Hotmail for a couple of days but we cleared that up. Who doesn’t have the occasional issue, especially Hotmail - I think they flag everything as spam and ask everyone to find their emails! Keep it up Microsoft.
Failover Cluster in production
Our London infrastructure is now up and running and we’ve done some fail over tests with great results. Now we can send emails from both London and NY!
BCP (Business Continuity Planning) - That’s a term from 2000, probably some new fangled term for the youngsters out there that I should be using.
Improving our headers
One of the problems of this business is email service providers just don’t stay on top of things, keeping their headers correct, allowing people to SPAM through their system etc.
We recently changed up our headers somewhat to ensure the best deliverability of our emails, yes we improved them above and beyond what they already are. I challenge anyone to find another email service provider with as good email headers as we have.
Authentication introduced
So not only do we handle all of your mailing list requirements but now we can take care of those pesky authentication emails - you know the ones with the long URL’s. A flick of a check box and Bob’s your Uncle. All done!
Musicnation and iilwy
Musicnation.com - music discovery of unsigned artists started using us and have seen a dramatic increase in traffic from their emails - great news! They also love our google analytics integration - as do we!
Iilwy.com the flash gaming social networking site also is using our emails and are very happy that they no longer have to deal with the spam folder.
